Regular Season Round 22: Hapoel J-M - Bnei Hertzeliyya 100-80

The game between Top Four teams took place in Jerusalem. First ranked host Hapoel Jerusalem (16-6) smashed 4th ranked Bnei Hasharon (12-10) 100-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bnei Hasharon. Bnei Hasharon was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. It was a great shooting night for Hapoel Jerusalem especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Bnei Hasharon's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Yotam Halperin (194-84) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American power forward Josh Duncan (203-86) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Hapoel Jerusalem's coach Danny Franco used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Drew Crawford (196-90, college: Northwestern) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and his fellow American import forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Bnei Hasharon. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first position with 16-6 record. Bnei Hasharon at the other side keeps the fourth place with ten games lost.
