Regular Season Round 23: Audentese/N. - Tarvas 68-108

Bottom-ranked Audentese/N. is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 24th consecutive match to fifth ranked BC Rakvere (11-11) 108-68. The game without a history. BC Rakvere led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Audentese/N.'s 34 and made 19-of-21 charity shots (90.5 percent) during the game. BC Rakvere forced 25 Audentese/N. turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. BC Rakvere brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Audentese/N. was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for international forward Janari Joesaar (198-93, college: UTRGV) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) helped adding 21 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Five BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. Point guard Siim-Markus Post (185-97) responded with 15 points and 5 assists and guard Kristian Kullamae (190-99) scored 15 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BC Rakvere maintains fifth place with 11-11 record, which they share with Parnu. Audentese/N. at the other side still closes the standings. BC Rakvere will play against Valga (#7) on the road in the next round. Audentese/N.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tallinn to the arena TTU.
