Regular Season Round 21: Artego Bydg. - Sleza Wroclaw 84-49

The game between Top Four teams took place in Bydgoszcz. Second ranked host Artego Bydg. (17-4) smashed 4th placed Sleza Wroclaw (16-5) 84-49. The game without a history. Artego Bydg. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for Artego Bydg. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. American swingman Darxia Morris (172-89, college: UCLA, agency: Merit Management Group) nailed 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and her fellow American import Amisha Carter (186-82, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Josep and Nicolas) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Artego Bydg. players scored in double figures. Filipino-American center Chay Shegog (196-90, college: N.Carolina) came up with 12 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard Sharnee Zoll-Norman (170-86, college: Virginia) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Sleza Wroclaw in the defeat. Sleza Wroclaw's coach Algirdas Paulauskas gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Artego Bydg. have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 17-4 record behind leader Wisla Krakow. Sleza Wroclaw at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with Polkowice. Artego Bydg. will play against league's leader Wisla Krakow on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sleza Wroclaw will play against Sosnowiec and hopes to get back on the winning track.
