Very important is a home loss of first ranked Marinos (20-8) against fifth ranked Toros (8-16) on Wednesday night. Host Marinos were defeated by Toros in a tough game in Puerto La Cruz 74-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Marinos. The guests were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 23-17 Marinos' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 80-74 at the end of the game.
