Regular Season Round 23: TLU/Kalev - Rapla 90-88

The most exciting game of round 23 in the Alexela KML took place in Tallinn. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Rapla (14-9) to fourth ranked TLU/Kalev (14-8) 90-88 in the game for the third place. Canadian guard Johnny Berhanemeskel (188-92, agency: Two Points) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 5 rebounds. The former international forward Kaido Saks (207-86, agency: Blacktop Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American guard Devin Brooks (186-92, college: Creighton) answered with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and the other American import forward Maurice Kemp (203-91, college: E.Carolina) added 21 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Rapla. Four TLU/Kalev and five Rapla players scored in double figures. TLU/Kalev have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Rapla at the other side dropped to the fourth position with nine games lost. TLU/Kalev are looking forward to face Parnu (#6) at home in the next round. Rapla will play against the league's leader TU/Rock and is hoping to win this game.
