Everything went according to plan in Helsinki where fifth ranked HBA-Marsky (11-15) outscored 8th ranked Pyrinto II (7-20) 89-63 on Thursday. The game without a history. HBA-Marsky led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. HBA-Marsky forced 29 Pyrinto II turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Pyrinto II's players. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Fiifi Aidoo (187-96) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals and point guard Lassi Nikkarinen (184-97) who added 19 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals during the contest. At the losing side guard Justus Kilpinen (192-93) responded with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and American center Byron Burnett (206-82, college: FIU) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Pyrinto II's coach Tero Vasell gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. HBA-Marsky maintains fifth position in Division with 11-15 record. Loser Pyrinto II keeps the eighth place with 20 games lost. HBA-Marsky will face league's second-placed Forssan Koripojat on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
