Regular Season Round 19: Aulnoye - Limoges 52-40

Rather expected game when 5th ranked Limoges (9-10) was defeated on the road by third ranked Aulnoye (15-4) 52-40. Limoges was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 18-3 charge of Aulnoye, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Limoges to just 3 points in fourth quarter and to 12 points in second half. They outrebounded Limoges 38-25 including 17 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Marie Frederique Ayissi (184-82) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Center Cora Duval (185-87) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Canadian guard Nakeshia Hyde (178-90, college: Texas Tech) answered with 9 points and 6 rebounds and center Justine Barthelemy (185-93) added 6 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Limoges. Limoges' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Aulnoye moved-up to second place, which they share with Roche. Limoges at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. Aulnoye's next round opponent will be league's leader Tarbes on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Limoges will play against LTB 29 (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
