Regular Season Round 28: Sokol Lancut - Spojnia 84-63

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Spojnia (11-17) was outplayed on the road by second ranked Sokol Lancut (23-5) 84-63. Sokol Lancut dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Spojnia's 28. It was a very good performance for guard Krzysztof Jakobczyk (183-86, agency: Promotex) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 assists. Power forward Tomasz Pisarczyk (202-85) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Hubert Pabian (200-89, agency: Promotex) replied with 11 points and 8 rebounds and guard Lukasz Pacocha (185-82) added 14 points in the effort for Spojnia. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sokol Lancut maintains second position with 23-5 record having four points less than leader Krosno. Spojnia at the other side keeps the tenth place with 17 games lost. Sokol Lancut's next round opponent will be SKK Siedlce (#11) at home and are hoping to win another game. Spojnia will play against Notec Inowr. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
