The most interesting game of round 24 was a home defeat of 6th ranked Bank of Taiwan (11-18) by sixth ranked Fubon Braves (12-17) who outscored them by 25 points 89-64 in the game for the fifth place. Fubon Braves trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-64. Fubon Braves dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Bank of Taiwan's 32. They outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 43-28 including 34 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Earl Barron (211-81, college: Memphis) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 9 rebounds and guard Wei-Che Lin (182-92) who added 24 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Shun-Hsiang Chen (190-85) scored 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fubon Braves have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Bank of Taiwan lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 18 games lost. Fubon Braves are looking forward to face league's leader Pure Youth in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bank of Taiwan will play against KKL (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
