1Liga top team - Krosno (27-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifteenth ranked GTK Gliwice (8-20) 102-58. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of GTK Gliwice. Krosno dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to GTK Gliwice's 26. They outrebounded GTK Gliwice 45-21 including a 33-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Krosno players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by GTK Gliwice's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The winners were led by center Dariusz Wyka (209-91) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 6 blocks and Patryk Pelka (202-89) supported him with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Four Krosno players scored in double figures. Even 15 points by swingman Piotr Pluta (193-81, agency: Promotex) did not help to save the game for GTK Gliwice. Point guard Tomasz Wrobel (186-85) added 7 points and 7 assists for lost side.
