Second Stage Round 10: LF Future - KFUM Uppsala 121-64

The game between closely ranked teams ended with one of their biggest challengers KFUM Uppsala's (7-6) road loss to third ranked LF Future (9-4) in Lulea 64-121 on Sunday. The game without a history. LF Future led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to KFUM Uppsala's 36. LF Future forced 23 KFUM Uppsala turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. LF Future looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by KFUM Uppsala's players. It was a very good performance for American guard Brian Curry (185-86) who helped to win the game recording 26 points. Point guard Caleb Musie (173-95) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five LF Future players scored in double figures. LF Future's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Philip Ejenstam (190-94) replied with 14 points and 6 rebounds and forward Tobias Skyttevall (196-95) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for KFUM Uppsala. LF Future maintains third position in Superettan with 9-4 record having just three points less than leader Solna Branten. KFUM Uppsala at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. LF Future will face IK Eos (#6) in Lund in the next round.
