Regular Season Round 28: Notec Inowr. - Znicz Basket 75-80

Very expected game in Inowroclaw where 11th ranked Notec Inowr. (10-18) was defeated by fifth ranked Znicz Basket (17-11) 80-75. Znicz Basket forced 21 Notec Inowr. turnovers. Strangely Notec Inowr. outrebounded Znicz Basket 42-12 including a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Notec Inowr. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for swingman Damian Tokarski (193-88) who helped to win the game recording 13 points. Point guard Kamil Czosnowski (180-95) contributed with 11 points for the winners. Power forward Lukasz Ratajczak (201-86, agency: Promotex) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Aleksander Filipiak (185-90) added 15 points and 10 assists in the effort for Notec Inowr.Four Notec Inowr. players scored in double figures. Notec Inowr.'s coach Lukasz Zytko rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Znicz Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with GKS Tychy. Notec Inowr. lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the twelfth position with 18 games lost. Znicz Basket's next round opponent will be GTK Gliwice (#15) at home which should be an easy win for them. Notec Inowr. will play against Spojnia in Stargard and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
