We should mention about the upset which took place in Madrid, where higher ranked Dominion BB (11-12) lost to seventeenth ranked Movil Estudiantes (5-18) in a road game 70-81. The game was mostly controlled by Movil Estudiantes. Dominion BB was better in second period 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Movil Estudiantes made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Dominion BB helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for Argentinian point guard Nicolas Laprovittola (193-90) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 6 assists. American forward Diamon Simpson (201-87, college: St.Mary's, CA) accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four Movil Estudiantes players scored in double figures. Latvian Dairis Bertans (194-89) came up with 19 points and the former international forward Alex Mumbru (202-79, agency: Beo Basket) added 14 points respectively for Dominion BB in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Movil Estudiantes maintains seventeenth place with 5-18 record. Dominion BB at the other side keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. Movil Estudiantes' next round opponent will be league's leader Valencia Basket on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
