No shocking result in a game when first ranked Solna Branten (12-1) beat at home 5th ranked Eskilstuna (5-6) 78-68 on Sunday. The game without a history. Solna Branten led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Eskilstuna's 36. It was a very good performance for Kenyan forward Tylor Ongwae (199-91, college: La-Monroe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds. American center Nick Smith (201-92, college: Dominican, NY) contributed with 24 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Hannes Widell (183-94) replied with 15 points and 7 rebounds and British-Cameroonian forward Franck Kouagnia (201-89) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Eskilstuna. Four Eskilstuna players scored in double figures. Solna Branten maintains first position in Superettan with 12-1 record. Eskilstuna at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Solna Branten will have a break next round. Eskilstuna will play on the road against the league's second-placed Hogsbo (#2) in Goteborg and hope to win that game.
