Semi-Finals Game 1: Virum - Lemvig 71-63

Virum topped Lemvig to open win count in the semifinal series. Lemvig trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 15-11 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 63-71 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Lemvig 39-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of center Val Driscoll (193-92, college: Quinnipiac) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Melissa Gilkey (185-92, college: Wash.-St.Louis) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Power forward Kaitlyn Mathieu (188-92, college: William & Mary) answered with 20 points and 8 rebounds and guard Gillian Abshire (175-93, college: Quinnipiac) added 13 points in the effort for Lemvig.
