Regular Season Round 49: Rocamora - MH Basket 76-85

Very important is a home loss of second ranked Rocamora (18-15) against seventh ranked MH Basket (12-21) on Tuesday night. Host Rocamora was defeated by MH Basket in a tough game in Rocamora 76-85. It looked good early as Rocamora took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then MH Basket had a 17-14 second period charge getting the lead and Rocamora was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 76-85. MH Basket forced 19 Rocamora turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Exequiel Cassinelli (196-92) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 6 rebounds. Naturalized Italian swingman Matias Fioretti (199-84) contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four MH Basket players scored in double figures. Matias Cuello (190-91) answered with 21 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Maximiliano Tabieres (198-89) added 8 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Rocamora. Rocamora's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. MH Basket maintains seventh place with 12-21 record. Rocamora at the other side keeps the second position with 15 games lost. MH Basket's next round opponent will be higher ranked Huracan (#4) in Trelew and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rocamora will play on the road against Petr.Argentino in Plaza Huincul and hope to win that game.
