Second Stage Round 6: Bashkimi - Beroe 70-88

An exciting game was played in Prizren. Third ranked Bulgarian Beroe faced 4th ranked Kosovan Bashkimi. Guests from Stara Zagora (4-2) defeated host Bashkimi (1-5) 88-70. The game without a history. Beroe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American point guard Ashton Moore (183-93, college: Citadel) scored 22 points and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Auston Barnes (203-91, college: Bradley) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Beroe's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Tre Bussey (190-91, college: Georgia South) with 21 points and Lithuanian forward Rokas Uzas (202-88) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Beroe moved-up to second place in Group C. Loser Bashkimi keeps the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Levski 2014.
