Regular Season Round 21: Sleza Wroclaw - Gorzow 78-47

Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Sleza Wroclaw (16-5) outscored at home 10th ranked AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (5-16) 78-47 on Tuesday. Sleza Wroclaw dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski's 30. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Katarzyna Krezel (184-85, college: UTEP, agency: Promotex) who scored 25 points. American point guard Sharnee Zoll-Norman (170-86, college: Virginia) chipped in 14 points and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Kelley Cain (198-89, college: Tennessee) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import guard Angel Goodrich (160-90, college: Kansas) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sleza Wroclaw moved-up to third place, which they share with Polkowice. Loser AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski keeps the tenth position with 16 games lost. They share it with MKK Siedlce. Sleza Wroclaw will meet Sosnowiec (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski will play against Energa Torun and hope to secure a win.
