There was no surprise in Buenos Aires where 4th placed Obras Basket (22-22) was defeated by second ranked Libertad Sunchales (26-19) 101-91 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Libertad Sunchales. Obras Basket was better in second period 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Libertad Sunchales shot 60.7 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was point guard Juan Brussino (185-91) who scored 29 points and 6 assists. American power forward Lee Roberts (201-87, college: Findlay, OH) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds.
