Very important is a road loss of third ranked Barrio Parque (18-16) against fifth ranked Echague (18-17) on Thursday night. Visiting Barrio Parque was defeated by Echague in a tough game in Parana 67-76. Center Santiago Gonzalez (203-83) had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Jaron Nash (203-91, college: N.Dakota) chipped in 11 points during the contest. Forward Nicolas Lauria (202-88) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Fernando Titarelli (183-82) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Five Echague and four Barrio Parque players scored in double figures. Barrio Parque's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Echague have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with La Union and Atenas Carmen.
