It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Byblos. The hosts were already 11 points ahead at halftime and as many as 12 after three quarters before a 42-35 last quarter charge of Byblos cut the lead to 95-90 at the end of the game. Tadamon made 23-of-24 charity shots (95.8 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Tadamon especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a very good performance for Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Serbian swingman Branko Cvetkovic (200-84) contributed with 23 points and 7 assists for the winners. International Jasmon Youngblood (195-84, college: Kent St.) replied with 31 points and American-Ukrainian guard Steven Burtt (189-84, college: Iona) added 23 points in the effort for Byblos. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tadamon moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Byblos. Tadamon's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Louaize (#9). Byblos will play against Champville (#8) and hope to win that game.
