Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Bolzano (5-18) was rolled over on the road by second ranked Team Crema (19-4) 76-48 on Saturday. The game without a history. Team Crema led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Team Crema outrebounded Bolzano 47-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for Latvian forward Ieva Veinberga (185-84) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Gilda Cerri (185-90) helped adding 11 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Elena Zambarda (180-87) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Safy Fall (176-89) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Team Crema maintains second place in A2 with 19-4 record having six points less than leader Broni. Newly promoted Bolzano keeps the thirteenth position with 18 games lost. Team Crema will face Milano (#4) on the road in the next round. Bolzano will play against Alpo VR (#7) and hope to win that game.
