Regular Season Round 23: CAM E.Soler - Utrera 86-62

The game between closely ranked teams ended with second-ranked Utrera's (3-3) road loss to leader CAM E.Soler (6-0) 62-86 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-62. It was a great evening for point guard Daniel Terron (180-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 9 assists. American forward Damon Sherman-Newsome (196-92, college: Colgate) helped adding 20 points. CAM E.Soler's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. CAM E.Soler have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group D Perman with 6-0 record. Newly promoted Utrera dropped to the third position with three games lost. CAM E.Soler will face Sevilla II (#4) on the road in the next round. Utrera will play against the league's second-placed Novaschool and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
