Second Stage Round 11: Norrort - BG Lulea 77-92

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 6th ranked Taby Basket (6-11) was defeated at home by seventh ranked BG Lulea (7-11) 92-77 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by BG Lulea. Taby Basket was better in third quarter 26-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for point guard Jonatan Arvidsson (180-98) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points. Center Edvin Tedesjo (202-98) helped adding 21 points and 7 rebounds. Marcus Friman responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Jonas Ehlde (188-92) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for BG Lulea. They moved-up to fifth place in BEHN forts, which they share with Orongo. Taby Basket lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. BG Lulea will have a break next round. Taby Basket will play on the road against KFUM Blackeberg (#8) in Vallingby and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
