Regular Season Round 23: C.Adelantados - Ensino 65-64

Seventh-ranked Maquinaria Ensino (11-12) was very close to win a game against fifth ranked C.Adelantados (15-8) in San Cristobal. C.Adelantados managed to secure only one-point victory 65-64. However their fans expected easier game. Maquinaria Ensino was ahead by 11 points after three quarters before a 21-9 charge of C.Adelantados, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for American guard Tyonna Outland (173-92, college: CSU Bakersfield) who led her team to a victory scoring 21 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Alba Pena (177-95, agency: Josep and Nicolas) helped adding 18 points. Forward Raquel Asensio (178-83) responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds and guard Tamara Montero (168-94) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. C.Adelantados moved-up to fourth place in Group A, which they share with Aros Leon and Adareva. Maquinaria Ensino at the other side keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with RC Celta and Arxil Pontev.. C.Adelantados will play against Arxil Pontevedra (#8) on the road in the next round. Maquinaria Ensino will play against Adareva in SC Laguna and hopes to get back on the winning track.
