We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Santiago de Camp. where eleventh ranked Rosalia (5-13) outleveled 10th ranked Gijon (4-12) 82-62 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 29-8 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Rosalia made 29-of-34 free shots (85.3 percent) during the game, while Gijon only scored twelve points from the stripe. It was a great evening for forward Pablo Posse (203-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Dario Suarez (181-87) helped adding 18 points and 5 assists (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!). Four Rosalia players scored in double figures. Guard Pablo Breton (180-93) responded with 13 points and center Diego Gonzalez (200-84) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rosalia moved-up to tenth place in Group A-B. Gijon lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
