Not a big story in a game when 17th ranked SPO Rouen (5-19) lost at home to second ranked Monaco (17-7) 74-61 on Saturday. It was a good game for Jamaican-American power forward Adrian Uter (200-84, college: Hofstra) who led his team to a victory with 13 points and 5 rebounds. American Jamal Shuler (191-86) contributed with 13 points and 4 steals for the winners. Monaco's coach Zvezdan Mitrovic used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized Ivorian point guard Mouloukou Souleyman Diabate (181-87, agency: Beo Basket) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and the former international center Alain Koffi (207-83, agency: Beo Basket) added 13 points in the effort for SPO Rouen. Newly promoted Monaco maintains second position with 17-7 record behind leader Strasbourg. SPO Rouen lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth place with 19 games lost. Monaco will face JDA Dijon (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SPO Rouen will play against Entente Orleans 45 (#12) and hope to win that game.
