No shocking result in a game in Madrid where second ranked Quintanar (15-5) outleveled 11th ranked Estudiantes B (7-13) 83-55 on Saturday. The game without a history. Quintanar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Estudiantes B's 22. It was a great evening for Cuban point guard Taylor Garcia (182-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Center Artur Alaminos (205-91) helped adding 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Quintanar players scored in double figures. Guard Diego Gonzalez (188-96) responded with 15 points and Croatian power forward Filip Bundovic (205-94, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Estudiantes B's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Quintanar maintains second place in Group B with 15-5 record having just nineteen point less than leader Badajoz. Loser Estudiantes B dropped to the eighth position with 13 games lost. Quintanar will face league's leader Albacete at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Estudiantes B will play against La Roda (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
