Very predictable result when third ranked Palestrina (20-6) rolled over on the road 12th ranked Roma S.Azzurra (9-17) 84-55 on Saturday. Matteo Pierangeli (201-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Daniele Brenda (193-93) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Palestrina players scored in double figures. Montenegrin forward Todor Radonjic (200-97) replied with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian Lazar Nikolic (202-99) added 10 points and 5 assists in the effort for Roma S.Azzurra. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Palestrina maintains third position in B with 20-6 record having just two points less than leader Forli, which they share with Bergamo. Loser Roma S.Azzurra dropped to the eleventh place with 17 games lost. Palestrina will face league's second-placed Napoli Basket at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Roma S.Azzurra will play against Fondi (#16) and hope to win that game.
