The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Residence (11-14) in Bereldange on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Soleuvre (7-19) 87-73. Soleuvre forced 19 Residence turnovers. It was a great evening for American power forward Derrick Barden (196-92, college: N.Colorado, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Jordan Downing (196-92, college: Presbyterian) helped adding 26 points and 8 rebounds. Four Soleuvre players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Everage Richardson (191-85, college: Co.Carolina) responded with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and international forward Oliver Vujakovic (192-96) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Soleuvre maintains fourth place in League with 7-19 record. Residence at the other side still keeps top position with 14 games lost. Soleuvre are looking forward to face league's leader Arantia in Larochette in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Residence will play on the road against BC Mess in Mondercange and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
