Regular Season Round 22: Sosnowiec - Sleza Wroclaw 62-64

Eighth-ranked Sosnowiec (7-15) made lots of trouble for third ranked Sleza Wroclaw (17-5). The visitors from Wroclaw managed to secure only two-point victory 64-62. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 17-7 Sosnowiec's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 64-62 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Sosnowiec 41-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian guard Sandra Linkeviciene (176-82) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Sharnee Zoll-Norman (170-86, college: Virginia) contributed with 7 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winners. American forward Aishah Sutherland (187-90, college: Kansas) replied with 15 points and 8 rebounds and her fellow American import point guard Ketia Swanier (170-86, college: Connecticut) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Sosnowiec. Sleza Wroclaw maintains third position with 17-5 record behind leader Artego Bydg., which they share with Polkowice. Newly promoted Sosnowiec keeps the eighth place with 15 games lost.
