Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Reims and 8th ranked Avenir had identical 9-10 record. This time Reims used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Chartres 56-48. The game without a history. Reims led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by Serbian center Ana Radovic (190-90, agency: LBM Management) who scored that evening 11 points and 7 rebounds and guard Fleur Devillers (181-95) supported her with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Even 13 points and 8 rebounds by American Mariesa Greene (183-87, college: Barry) did not help to save the game for Avenir. Slovakian forward Simona Podesvova (186-83) added 11 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Reims (10-10) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Limoges and SIG. Avenir at the other side keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Reims' next round opponent will be higher ranked Aulnoye (#3) on the road and it may be quite challenging game. Avenir will play against Limoges (#5) and hope to win that game.
