There was a minor upset when 11th ranked Aiolos Trikallon (7-16) lost to thirteenth ranked Arkadikos (6-17) in Arkadia 66-79. It looked good early as Aiolos Trikallon took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Arkadikos had a 26-11 second period charge getting the lead and Aiolos Trikallon was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 66-79. Arkadikos made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international center Vasileios Kavvadas (204-91) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Christoforos Stefanidis (187-80) chipped in 16 points. British Ovie Soko (201-91, college: Duquesne) produced 13 points and 8 rebounds and American Brandon Brown (201-85, college: CS San Bernar.) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Aiolos Trikallon players scored in double figures. Aiolos Trikallon's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted Arkadikos maintains thirteenth place with 6-17 record. Aiolos Trikallon lost their third game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Arkadikos' next round opponent will be higher ranked Koroivos (#12) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
