Rather expected game when 18th ranked STB Le Havre (1-23) was smashed at home by sixteenth ranked Paris-Levallois (8-16) 98-65 on Saturday. Paris-Levallois dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to STB Le Havre's 28. Paris-Levallois had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. Paris-Levallois looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American players dominated also this game. It was a good game for point guard Chris Jones (178-91, college: Louisville) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 assists. Forward Jordan Morgan (203-91, college: Michigan) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Paris-Levallois players scored in double figures. Guard Teddy Gipson (193-80, college: Arkansas, agency: Court Side) replied with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and center Elton Brown (206-83, college: Virginia) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for STB Le Havre. Paris-Levallois moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Nancy. STB Le Havre lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Paris-Levallois will face higher ranked Olympique Antibes (#11) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. STB Le Havre will play against Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#4) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
