Very expected game when 16th ranked Battaglia (4-21) lost on the road to fifth ranked Crema (17-9) 78-63 on Sunday. Battaglia was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized Ivorian swingman Ibrahim Cisse (188-84) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Power forward Gabriele Zanella (204-81) contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Crema players scored in double figures. Point guard Fabio Grugnetti (171-87) replied with 15 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and power forward Luigi Brunetti (205-88) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Battaglia.
