Regular Season Round 24: Torun - Stelmet ZG 83-80

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Stelmet (21-3) in Torun on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by fourth ranked Twarde Pierniki (20-6) 83-80. It ended at the same time the 12-game winning streak of Stelmet. The hosts trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 26-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Four Stelmet players scored in double figures. Stelmet's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Twarde Pierniki maintains fourth position with 20-6 record. Defending champion Stelmet still keeps top place with three games lost. Twarde Pierniki are looking forward to face Trefl (#16) in Sopot in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Stelmet will play at home against MKS Start (#17) and is hoping to win this game.
