Leading Valencia Basket (21-3) recorded its third loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by seventeenth ranked Movil Estudiantes (6-18) 68-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Valencia Basket. Valencia Basket was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Movil Estudiantes players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Nacho Martin (203-83) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Jaime Fernandez (186-93) who added 10 points and 9 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American center Justin Hamilton (213-90, college: LSU, agency: Priority Sports) with 12 points and 5 rebounds and Central African swingman Romain Sato (195-81, college: Xavier) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Valencia Basket's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Movil Estudiantes maintains seventeenth position with 6-18 record. Valencia Basket at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. Movil Estudiantes will play against higher ranked CB Canarias (#10) in Tenerife in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Valencia Basket will play on the road against Blusens Monbus (#15) in Santoago de Comp and hopes to get back on the winning track.
