Second Stage Round 11: Trelleborg - Huddinge 95-58

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Trelleborg as it allowed them to take a leadership position in BEHS forts. Trelleborg smashed 5th ranked Huddinge at home 95-58. The game was mostly controlled by Trelleborg. Huddinge was better in third quarter 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Trelleborg dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Huddinge's 28. Trelleborg forced 22 Huddinge turnovers and outrebounded them 47-34 including 33 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for guard Anis Ben Hamida (195-90) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. Australian guard John Fitzgerald (193-84, college: Lindsey Wilson) accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four Trelleborg players scored in double figures. Samme Unger (-94) came up with 9 points and 11 rebounds and Mak Bajic added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Huddinge in the defeat. Trelleborg (17-6) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Huddinge at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost.
