Serie A top team - Armani Milano (19-5) added another victory to their record. This time they beat tenth ranked AV Cantu (10-14) 72-65. AV Cantu was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Armani Milano forced 19 AV Cantu turnovers. AV Cantu was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by Uruguayan-Spanish power forward Esteban Batista (208-83, agency: Duran International) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and international swingman Alessandro Gentile (200-92) supported him with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Armani Milano's coach Jasmin Repesa allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 16 points and 6 assists by Croatian point guard Roko-Leni Ukic (196-84, agency: XL Basketball Agency) did not help to save the game for AV Cantu.
