We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eighth ranked Talje Knights (3-11) defeated at home 7th ranked KFUM Central (2-9) 81-71 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Talje Knights. KFUM Central was better in third quarter 23-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Talje Knights made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. It was a great evening for point guard Henrik Sjolin (183-97) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 4 assists. Swingman Oskar Holm (193-98) helped adding 15 points and 7 rebounds. Talje Knights' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jonatan Bohman responded with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Mikael Banks (191-81) scored 19 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Talje Knights moved-up to seventh place in Superettan. Newly promoted KFUM Central dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost.
