No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Oleggio (12-14) beat at home 15th ranked Torino (2-24) 85-77 on Sunday. Oleggio made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Oleggio especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Forward Riccardo Coviello (197-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Claudio Sacco (185-81) contributed with 14 points and 7 assists for the winners. Five Oleggio players scored in double figures. Center Alessandro Panzieri (201-95, college: High School) replied with 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and guard Alessandro Chiotti (194-95) added 15 points and 6 assists in the effort for Torino. Oleggio moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with Padova. Loser Torino keeps the fifteenth position with 24 games lost. Oleggio will face Livorno (#14) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Torino will play against Valsesia and hope to win that game.
