Very important is a home loss of second ranked Libertad Sunchales (26-21) against fifth ranked Bahia Basket (23-21) on Monday night. Host Libertad Sunchales was defeated by Bahia Basket in a tough game in Sunchales 86-91. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-18. But Libertad Sunchales won second period 21-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bahia Basket have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Libertad Sunchales at the other side keeps the second position with 21 games lost. They share it with La Union. Bahia Basket will play against Sionista (#10) in Parana in the next round where they are favorite. Libertad Sunchales will play at home against Instituto C. (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
