Louaize trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 19-10 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 54-58 at the end of the game. Tadamon dominated on the defensive end, holding Louaize to just 7 points in second quarter. They outrebounded Louaize 44-30 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winners and Serbian swingman Branko Cvetkovic (200-84) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Alex Okafor (202-87, college: Princeton) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import center Wendell Lewis (208-89, college: Alabama St.) scored 19 points. Tadamon moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hoops and Byblos. Louaize lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with 12 games lost. They share it with Champville. Tadamon will meet at home league's second-placed Homenetmen in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Louaize will play against Champville (#8) in Dik El Mehdi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
