Very important is a road loss of second ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (5-2) against eighth ranked Fuerza Guinda Nogales (3-4) on Tuesday night. Visiting Rayos de Hermosillo was defeated by Fuerza Guinda Nogales in a tough game in Nogales 95-100. The game was also dominated by American players. Power forward Willie Readus (201-92, college: Delta St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Jumaine Jones (202-79, college: Georgia) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Fuerza Guinda Nogales' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Swingman Michael Craig (196-91, college: S.Mississippi) replied with 25 points and 4 assists and power forward Paul Butorac (208-83, college: E.Washington) added 15 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for Rayos de Hermosillo. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fuerza Guinda Nogales moved-up to seventh place. Rayos de Hermosillo at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Guasave and Guaymas. Fuerza Guinda Nogales will again play against league's second-placed Rayos de Hermosillo at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Rayos de Hermosillo will have a break next round.
