Finals Game 1: Sf.Gheorghe - Alba Iulia 82-57

The game without a history. Sf.Gheorghe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sf.Gheorghe outrebounded Alba Iulia 44-22 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Alba Iulia's players. Canadian forward Kim Pierre-Louis (183-93, college: Massachusetts) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and international point guard Annemarie Parau (172-84) accounted for 15 points and 7 assists. Five Sf.Gheorghe players scored in double figures. Sf.Gheorghe's coach Zoran Mikes felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. FYR Macedonian Jelena Antic (187-91, college: Liberty) came up with 13 points and 7 rebounds and American swingman Adrienne Webb (175-90, college: LSU) added 14 points respectively for Alba Iulia in the defeat.
