Very expected game when 10th ranked Civitanova (10-14) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Palermo (15-9) 68-56 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 68-56. Palermo dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Civitanova's 24. The best player for the winners was point guard Costanza Verona (170-99) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds.
