Very predictable result when seventh ranked Alpo VR (12-12) outscored on the road 13th ranked Bolzano (5-19) 74-53 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Alpo VR. Bolzano was better in fourth quarter 19-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Giulia Monica (169-87) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Bosnian Marina Dzinic (190-92) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Safy Fall (176-89) who recorded 15 points and guard Elena Zambarda (180-87) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Alpo VR moved-up to fifth place in A2. Newly promoted Bolzano keeps the thirteenth position with 19 games lost. Alpo VR will face San Salvatore (#10) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Bolzano will play against Milano and hope to win that game.
