Sf.Gheorghe stepped closer to the Liga Nationala title. They handed the second straight defeat to Alba Iulia in the championship series. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 64-50.
