Regular Season Round 26: Conquero - Mann Filter 66-91

The most important game in the last round took place in Huelva between second ranked Conquero (19-7) and fourth ranked Mann Filter (17-9) on Saturday night. Conquero was crushed by Mann Filter at home 91-66. The game was mostly controlled by Mann Filter. Conquero managed to win second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mann Filter dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Conquero's 32. They outrebounded Conquero 37-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. Italian-Paraguayan swingman Paola Ferrari (178-85, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Bulgarian Jaklin Zlatanova (190-88) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. American forward Haley Peters (190-92, college: Duke) responded with 17 points and guard Roso Buch (179-92) scored 15 points and 4 steals. Mann Filter moved-up to third place, which they share with Cadi La Seu and Girona. Conquero at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost.
