Third ranked Araberri (16-8) crushed at home 9th ranked Clinicas Rincon (9-15) by 28 points 92-64, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Araberri. Clinicas Rincon managed to win third quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Araberri especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. The best player for the winners was American guard Parker Smith (190-90, college: N.Florida) who scored 28 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import forward Beau Levesque (200-91, college: St.Mary's, CA) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Araberri players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian power forward Kenan Karahodzic (209-96) who recorded 15 points and 6 rebounds and Congolese forward Judicael Belemene (205-97) added 17 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Araberri maintains third position with 16-8 record having four points less than leader Marin. Clinicas Rincon at the other side dropped to the tenth place with 15 games lost. Araberri will meet at home Zornotza (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Clinicas Rincon will play against Fontedoso Carrefour and hope to secure a win.
